Pets can have high stress levels during the holidays. Make sure to give them proper attention before company comes over or leave you put them outside or downstairs. Friend or foe animals like to be the center or master of attention but the commotion can be overwhelming especially for older animals. it is a good time to offer some special treat that might take the animal hours to enjoy or destroy. Then after the company leaves give them more attention so they do not feel left out. They will appreciate your efforts!
